The Stovers
This is a weblog (blog) for the Stover family surname and related lines. I am descended from John J. Stover and Catharine (Hartman) Stover, via Samuel Pleasant Stover (m. Eliza Jane Hill). Some of Samuel Pleasant Stover's siblings are David H. (m. Mary Ann Rhodes), George Washington (m. Sarah E. Postlethwait), James S. (m. Christena Baker), Silvanus(Saul) Harper (m. Harriet Ann Hughes), and William P. (m. Sarah P. Lewis). Their family lived in the Mason County West Virginia area, with my grandfather's family coming to Perry County Ohio in the late 1930's.
This will be an open multiple author blog. If you want to be able to add entries to this blog, please with your Stover family connection or other info or questions, and I'll add you as an author! If you want a specific user name and/or password please indicate them in your email to me, otherwise I'll assign them. Please be patient, I usually check my email a couple of times a day and I'll try to reply promptly! Once I've added you I'll send you an email detailing how to log in and add entries to the blog!

I've uploaded my Stover GEDCOM file (zipped to save bandwidth) with over 13,000 individuals. Please note that many individuals have info I've gathered from the web which has not been verified. If you need a program to unzip it after downloading, try WinZip or PicoZip.
